Over the weekend I went to try out a new restaurant that just opened up in Burnaby, Claudio’s Ristorante. I love Italian food so when I went to this restaurant I had high hopes. I was pretty disappointed in the food if I am being honest. There wasn’t anything special about it, I think Olive Garden is better.
I got the Margarita pizza and the Tagliatelle Nere pasta. The margarita pizza was very basic pizza I must say. I was not expecting much from the pizza because it is a classic. The pasta on the other hand was not amazing, there was not a lot of shellfish. The pasta was so flavourless and it the noodles were so thick that I could not use my fork to grab it. I give the food 6/10. The drink menu was not very appealing. I did not bother getting any of the special drinks.
The restaurant environment was beautiful; low lights, very intimate environment. I personally found the restaurant to be very good for a date night.
I will not be going back but it was good restaurant to check off my bucket list.
The audience that I am trying to target is people in there early 20s. I want to attract people who are navigating through this awkward weird time. We aren’t children anymore but we aren’t adults either, Young Adults. I find it sometimes hard to connect with some people on social media or the content they share because we have different perspectives. I am wanting to bring viewers who are trying new things, going through multiple jobs at a time, or budgeting.
I want to attract everyone who is spontaneous and adventurous that like to try new things. I have always wanted to start my own clothing brand, make hoodies and sweatpants. I want people to find this page when they are looking for inspiration. I am hoping this website gives me the inspiration that I need to further my side business. It can be really difficult being in your 20s trying to figure out what you want to do.
I am a working student. I have a job throughout the week plus four courses at school which can be heavy. This website is suppose to spark adventure and inspiration to follow your path.
I hope my audience can keep up with how spontaneous I am.
When I visualize my website, I want it to be slick and clean for viewers to find it easy to navigate through. I will definitely be making changes as I go but right now I am not the most confident. I am still trying to figure out my theme and how to go about editing and making proper links. I have placed two categories for process posts and mini assignments but I have not figured out how to add it in my Pub 101 drop down.
I am hoping to add social media links in the future. I want to add Pinterest as one of the links because I repost so many amazing outfits and travel photos. I have found a lot of my inspiration from Pinterest and Instagram. My personal Instagram is filled with photos of myself and vacation places I have been too. I definitely want start posting more about my life and the things I get into.
My website will continue you to be in under construction because I keep adding and removing things. Trial and Error. I have been getting pretty frustrated when I cannot figure things out. I am being patient and watching videos that could help me navigate through this website better but I must say it is difficult.
I am still hoping to add more information and keep up to date with my website and participating in adventures.
Greetings, I’m Venom. You may recognize me from the film Venom. I’m one of Spider-Man’s most notorious antagonists. From Marvel Comics, you might recognize me. I was persuaded by Sofia to speak as a guest on her blog, Day in the Life of Sofia. I’m not sure why I’m doing this, but when Sofia asked, I did have a wonderful meal. You must be familiar with Eddie the Journalist. He enjoys writing, so I figured I’d do it for him out of respect. My body merges with Eddies, were close.
Sofia came to visit me when I was out eating with Eddie. Eddie forced me to take part in writing something for her. I usually say no to helping people because you know I am a villain. I don’t really like being helpful. We had a lovely conversation while I was eating some bad people, very delicious I must add. Sofia did seem scared while she was talking to me, but I told her I wasn’t planning on eating her, even though she did look like a snack.
A background of me is, I am a sentient alien symbiote with an amorphous, liquid-like form, who survives by bonding with a host, usually humans like Eddie. My first human host was Spider-Man himself, but he did not like me, so he separated himself from me. I found Eddie Brock, my second and best human I emerged with.
Since Spider-Man announced me as his archenemy. I tried to slowly distance myself as an enemy and do good instead. It was a very hard pill to swallow but I did it. I did have some difficulties trying to be nice, but Eddie helped me with that.
I have been trying to become a nicer person since I have been characterized as a villain. I have been working to help Eddie a lot with many of his writings by finding evidence of criminals. I am an anti-hero.
My favourite foods used to be human brains, but I still sometimes have it because bad criminals. My newest favorite food is chocolate. If I d0o not eat chocolate, I become super weak and cannot use my strength and powers. Eddie has abandoned me before because I would only eat human brains because there is a chemical developed in the brain that helps with hunger. Eddie forced me out of that, now I am a chocolate lunatic.
I hope you enjoyed getting to know me a bit. Sofia is very lucky to be getting this exclusive about me. I am busy right now filming Venom 3.
This week I spent most of my time trying to get myself familiar with WordPress and how to use it. It was a huge process because I am going completely blind into editing my website and how to make categories. I watched a few YouTube videos that helped me, one that was very beneficial was from Tyler Moore. It was a very long video, but it helped me make a better website and to play around with it. Furthermore, I used Google to help me figure out small things like making pages and posts. My classmate is also doing the same website theme which allowed me to seek advice from her. I would not say I have fully understood the assignment on how to edit my page. I have played around with adding images or changing colours on my website. I would say my vision of how I want my website to look like is moving towards how my vision board is.
I was at Starbucks waiting to grab my coffee that I had just ordered, I accidentally took someone else’s drink. It was the exact same order but only difference was mine was not made with oat milk. I interacted with the person who’s drink I took by accident and I apologized to her. She commented on how funny it was that we ordered the exact same drink but with different milks. We just had a small conversation about how we both have a sweet tooth and we love coffee that is extra sweet. Moreover, it was a quick interaction that was based off of coffee which we both had in common. Online interactions are a lot more different than meeting someone in real life in my opinion. Online you can portray yourself differently and take your time to respond to people especially if you do not know what to say. Real life interactions you can understand emotions and body language when you cannot do that with online interactions.
